Degree of disablement
The degree of disablement is the percentage used in the War Pension Scheme to measure how much a condition affects you compared with a healthy person of the same age. That percentage sets the weekly pension, from 20% up to 100%. Below 20% a one-off gratuity is paid instead of a weekly pension.
